Public art, an indoor flea market and bird judo

Off to the flea market we went. The indoor flea market that is.
Along the way there and back, as always in Berlin, we found a few interesting pieces of public art. On the way home at sunset we came across a bunch of crows having a sort of Fight Club in a parking garage. Below is a slide show of the way there and back.
The weather is flippin’ cold in Berlin this weekend, and this week it’s supposed to get colder. temperatures are already well below freezing…todays high was about 30…and Wednesday the high is projected to be around 5 degrees. I won’t even mention the lows. Add to that the fact that the days are getting pretty short (sunrise 8 a.m. sunset at 4 p.m. and we still have another 20 days of shorter).
Luckily, we’ve so far been spared much snow…but that’s supposed to change this week, too. Good we made hay today.

gotta be diggin on the butterfly pavilion! were they little paper cranes?
Totally reminded me of your show at St. Marks. They were butterflys. Not very well oragami-ed if you ask me. Spent all the time hanging the fuckers up and not enough folding well.
